Carnegie Museum Monitors

We are always looking for volunteer monitors for the Carnegie Library Museum.

Volunteers operate the museum for 2-3  hours on an as need basis, opening and closing the building, and giving tours. Tasks include greeting visitors, familiarizing oneself with the museum's collections, exhibits, and Perry history, helping patrons with research on Ancestry.com and the newspaper databases, and being a good ambassador for the Carnegie during and outside of shifts.

Ideal volunteers are interested in history, willing to meet and talk with people, capable of working independently, and are responsible and reliable.

If this sounds like you, please contact Museum Librarian at info@fcctrust.org or 515-465-7713 for more information, or fill out the volunteer application below.
